How to get in touch with MetaMask?

However, it should be noted that for working on MetaMask you can get the app on your mobile device and for the browser, you’ll have to get a supporting MetaMask extension installed on your computer/laptop.

  • If you are a mobile user, search for “MetaMask” in your relevant mobile store (Google Play Store/Apple App Store) and get it downloaded. You cannot get the MetaMask Chrome extension mobile and MetaMask Firefox Android.

  • If you are more of a computer person, install any of the supporting extensions. Check below the extensions that you can move ahead with:

  1. MetaMask Chrome extension

  2. MetaMask FireFox extension

  3. MetaMask Brave extension

  4. MetaMask Edge extension

  5. MetaMask Opera extension

Now, we will go through the steps of installing the MetaMask for the Chrome browser (desktop). If you prefer any other browser than the one mentioned above you can go with that.

  1. Reach out to https://metamask.io/download/ site

  2. Now, click on “Install MetaMask for Chrome”. If you want to download any other extension hit on that browsers symbol and proceed ahead

  3. Tap on “Add to Chrome”, to step ahead

  4. Confirm adding the extension by pressing the “Add Extension” button

  5. Wait a while and the extension will get downloaded

Once, it’s completed you’ll be able to see a puzzle icon, next to the search bar. If you want to activate the extension, you can tap on that icon and select the extension.
